It's no secret that we don't have much of a fall in the south. It'll get a little chilly some nights, but that's about it. That being said- for those chilly nights that you need more than just a sweater, there's one must-have outerwear piece that I recommend everyone having on hand.. And that's a vest!

I have so many different kinds of vests in my closet for this very reason. It's not cold enough for full on fur coats, but a nice vest will keep you warm just the same! I have [faux] fur vests, quilted vests, nylon vests.. one for every occasion! They provide the perfect amount of warmth, and also add style to your outfit!

Here in Charleston I even wear my vests into the winter! You can see all the ways I have styled vests in the past here.
