The time of year has come where we slowly start to drift away from our New Year Resolutions! I know for me, the hardest one to keep up with is always my fitness goals! I have found that it has been much easier to stick with my workouts when I have someone/something keeping me accountable, so I have rounded up 5 fitness apps that will help you stick with your resolutions!
5 Fitness Apps To Help You Stick To Your Resolutions
WORKOUT: Sweat with Kayla
Bikini Body Guide (BBG) by Kayla Itsines has become such a huge deal in the workout world. She now has an app that you can buy that has great workouts and meal plans to follow. The app is an investment but worth it if you stick with it! I have seen such great results from others all over social media and it seems to really work!RUNNING: Runkeeper
I would much rather go for a run than go to the gym. If you're like me, this app is for you! It's a great way to keep track of all your runs and distances. If you're training for a race, I would suggest the 10K runner app! You can go from not running at all and work your way up! I used these apps to get me in shape for my half marathon last summer and they really work if you still with it! They have a 21K runner app too!
STRETCHING: Stretching Sworkit
A huge part of workout out and staying healthy is stretching! You are so much more likely to get hurt during a workout if you don't warm up or stretch. One of my goals this year is to drastically improve my fliexiblity! I am so inflexible it's not even funny. I just downloaded this app and I'm going to stick with it in hopes that I will be able to touch my toes haha. I'll keep you posted on my progress!
WATER: Waterlogged
Makes it nearly impossible to forget to drink enough water. The app allows you to set reminders for yourself at scheduled or random intervals to get something to drink and keeps track of how well you are meeting your daily water drinking goals. You can even customize the app based on the type and size of drinking glasses or water bottles you have, right down to the ounce. Simply take a picture of the glass or water bottle you are drinking from and note the volume of water it holds. Next time you drink from it, find in the list and tap to record.
SLEEP: Sleep++
A huge part of being healthy is getting enough sleep. I definitely don't have an issue getting my 8 hours in, but I know a lot of you do! This app helps you understand your sleep patterns so that you can decide if you need to change up your routine. This app can sink with your apple watch and monitor how much sleep you get each month!
Do y'all have any health and fitness apps that you love? I would love to hear them! I'm always looking for new ways to try and live a healthy lifestyle. I am not the healthiest person, but I have been trying to get better at it!
Thanks so much for reading! xo

ReplyDeleteOne of my tricks is to think about something you do everyday like Brush Your Teeth...same thing for exercise then! It's to keep your machine well oiled, lol!
