Ah Happy 2017 y'all!! I can't believe I just typed that! HOW are we already in 2017?! I feel like I was just typing out my 2016 resolutions. I didn't exactly stick to last year's resolutions (I'm still as introverted as ever), but I am going into 2017 with a positive mindset and am going to try my hardest to stick to my 2017 resolution! With that being said.. my one goal of 2017 is to...
Stay Consistent!
My goal is to stay more consistent in all aspects of my life, but mostly with my blog, diet, and exercise! I want to get into a good routine and stay consistent!
My Blog: I want to continue to bring you guys great content on here, as well as on my social media pages. In 2017 I want to focus a lot on growing my following in an organic way, and the best way to do this is staying consistent with my posting schedule and engaging with my followers. My goal is by the end of 2017 to be posting 5 times a week consistently on the blog, and posting twice a day, seven days a week on Instagram.
My Diet: If you know me then you know I have the worst eating habits. I love candy and hate vegetables. I also have zero self control, and basically hate dieting. But a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do! Cab has slowly gotten me to introduce foods into my diet that I normally wouldn't touch (like venison & shrimp), but I still have a long way to go! Hopefully by the end of 2017 I will be loving vegetables and won't be craving candy every single day. (A girl can dream)
My Fitness: Once I get on a routine and get into shape, exercising consistently is something I actually enjoy doing. It's the whole getting into shape part that I'm not so good at. The thing that helps me stay focused on my exercise goal is having a reason to get into shape. I signed up for my 2nd half marathon in August, so I have a reason to get my butt off the couch and go for a run a few times a week! I am setting a goal in 2017 to do some sort of physical activity every day!
Bring it on 2017!
I also thought that it would be a good idea to round up some of my latest Instagram posts for you. If you are signed up for liketoknow.it, then you can easily shop my Instagram posts by liking the photos on the Instagram app. But if you don't have liketoknow.it (or Instagram), You can shop the details of my posts below! Another way to shop my Instagram posts without signing up for liketoknow.it is by visiting my Shop My Instagram page under the 'shop' tab in my navigation bar!
2016 was such a great year for me and I cannot wait to see what 2017 has in store! What are some of y'alls New Year resolutions?

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!! xo
DeleteGirl I feel ya on the healthy eating. For me, it's not candy and sweets, but crap like fast food, pasta sides, and spaghettios. I need to get back into it! Let's do it together :)
ReplyDeleteYES GIRL! That is seriously always the hardest thing for me because once I get back into exercising i'm like "hey i worked out, lets go eat some junk food" hahah xo
DeleteI love that you have a resolution and broken it down into 3 aspects of your life!! It makes me want to do the same :) I will find a word to describe what I want out of 2017 and break it down into all aspects of my life ! Thank you for your post!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you enjoyed!! I've found that it's much easier to stick to my resolutions when I have one main goal and they add it to all aspects of my life, instead of trying to stick to multiple goals! xo
DeleteI love this post! So many wonderful outfits! Happy 2017!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Nataly! Happy New Year! xo
DeleteLove your goals, I also would like to stay consistent in those three categories!! Cheers to 2017 and reaching them!

DeleteI am with you on the fitness goals. I am not good at working out unless I find a class or the right motivation. I am planning on doing more yoga and cycling classes this year so hopefully I get on the right track!
ReplyDeleteMeghan | beyondbasicblog.com
I agree, going to classes helps me accountable so I am more likely not to skip! Good luck staying on track this year! xo
DeleteLove your mini Instagram roundup, just started following you!
ReplyDeleteI have the same goal to grow my social media this year! I want to post to Instagram twice a day as well!
xx, Jamie

ReplyDeleteOMG love you soul sista!!! I can't wait to see where 2017 takes us.. For one, you are going to come visit meeeeee! xo

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Alicia! It's a big goal, but I am going to strive for it! Happy New Year! xo
DeleteI am right there with you on the loving candy and hating vegetables thing! I'm trying so hard to have a healthier lifestyle in general this year. And loving all of your outfits! That red cardigan is so pretty! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
ReplyDeleteSo glad I'm not alone in the hating veggies world! ;) Thanks so much Pamela, Happy New Year! xo
DeleteGreat goals! Consistency is always hard, but great to strive for!
ReplyDeletewww.maggiealamode.com
Hopefully I can stick to it this year ! :) Happy New Year! xo
DeleteI think it's wonderful that you're working to grow your following organically. In a social media world filled with unorthodox growth and fake comments, it's refreshing to find someone interested in the same goal as me - everyone that follows is following because they actually enjoy the content! Way to go, girly! Good luck on all your resolutions this year. Have a wonderful 2017!
ReplyDeleteStephanie // SheSawStyle.com
Thank you so much Stephanie, it means a lot! It's sometimes so hard/discouraging when other bloggers are buying followers, etc and growing at a much faster pace. But I am trying to stay true to myself! Hope you have a great year! xo
DeleteThese are all great goals and I totally agree with being consistent- I need to work on that for IG because I can't do ANY social media when I'm at work so I need to get better about scheduling and preparing in advance. Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeletexo, Kristina
Medicine & Manicures
Yes, scheduling is key! I am trying to schedule out my social media posts in advance as well! It will take some time but I'm hoping that once I have it all set up it will pay off! xo
DeleteLove your goals and resolutions. I need to eat better myself and focus on educating my readers with my content!
ReplyDeleteThank so much for reading Dawn! xo
DeleteI am all over the place with eating habits but I sat down and made a plan hopefully that helps me!
ReplyDeleteAh good luck! This is always the hardest thing for me! xo
DeleteLove your style, would love to be able to post 5 times a week.
ReplyDeleteThank you! xo
Deletehappy 2017! love al your adorable outfits!

You're too sweet, thanks Bailey! xo
DeleteI just downloaded an app called Strides (http://www.stridesapp.com) to help me with building daily habits and consistency. So far only a few days in but I really like it! It helps me remember what I have and haven't done each day. With the free version you get 10 things to track and can pick how often you want to do each thing. You can also make it a goal with a progress report instead of a reoccurring habit. Mine include the easiest things like taking my vitamins to the harder things like exercising in some form or another every day :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteoOo I'm definitely going to download it and try it out! Anything helps hehe. Thanks Kay! xo
