Winter Basics in the South

Vest: Similar | Top: Nordstrom | Boots: Vince Camuto | Purse: Similar

Being from Maryland, I'm not used to January temperatures being in the 60-70s range. I can't say that I'm hating it, but it is definitely different. That being said, my winter wardrobe has changed since I've moved to Charleston.

First of all, I've swapped my winter coats with winter vests. This vest is the perfect layering piece for the cooler nights! My snow boots haven't even made it out of the moving boxes yet, so these over-the-knee boots have been on repeat this season.

I'm hoping that we see at least a glimpse of winter over the next couple of months, just so I can get some use out of my winter wardrobe. But yes,  I  do understand that I moved to the south and there is no guarantee haha.

    Oh, I love that vest so much! I moved from England to Florida a few years ago and I found it so hard to give up my winter wardrobe for those first few winters. Swapping the winter coat for a vest is a great idea!

      I know the feeling! The one think I loved about living in Maryland is that you actually get to experience all four seasons! It will definitely take a little bit to get used to! xo

    I have a vest similar to this one! Wearing a vest in the south for layering is a good idea since it's probably cooler in the morning and evening.
