I hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas with your friends and family! Now it's time to switch gears for the New Year! When it comes to New Years Eve, the first thing I think of is sequins.. and glitter, lots of glitter! Instead of styling the usual sequins dress most girls wear out (I wore one last year), I wanted to style something a little different.. SEQUINS LEGGINGS!

You already know leggings are my go-to pants of choice, so when I stumbled across these sequins leggings, I HAD to buy them (I bought them in gold too)! I've mentioned before that I tend to dress in all black with one statement piece of clothing (ie. this vest). You've seen this faux fur vest before dressed down, but I dressed it up this time for an NYE look!

It's finally back to feeling like winter here in Maryland! It has been so nice hot-- it was in the 70s on Christmas Day! I didn't get the white Christmas I had been praying for, but it's finally cooled off again and I can't wait to break out my winter coats!!!

Thanks so much for reading! xo

  1. Those pants are GORGEOUS! So stylish and you can really dress them up or down. LOVE them so much. Thanks for sharing :)

  2. Hi Kelsey, I just joined Blogging Boost and saw your post in the Monday Promo! I LOVE your outfit. I think we have the same style --I wear a ton of black. I was looking for a similar vest for winter and ended up finding a white fur vest with a french label at a thrift store so I ended up getting that. Love the shoes as well! I just started getting serious about fashion blogging and will launch an new site soon. Do you have any advice for a newbie? Who takes your pictures?

    1. Hi Shannon! Thanks so much for reading!! I'm still a very new blogger so I probably don't have the best advice for you, but here are a few things that I do in order to stay on top of my blogging! Staying organized is very important! Write everything down! Make sure you are planning out your posts in advance - there's nothing worse than rushing to finish a post! I also recommend shooting multiple outfit posts in one day! I try to take all the posts for the week the weekend before so I'm not stressing out during the week! Most importantly: stay positive! You're not going to get insane page views, comments, etc just starting out (mine are all still mostly family and friends haha) But I know it's important to stay positive and keep working hard and the numbers will eventually reflect all the hard work you've been putting in!! And my roommate takes all of my pictures! :) Good luck with your launch- i look forward to checking out your blog!!

      xo Kelsey
