Monday Must-Haves: Makeup Edition

Happy Monday! Today's post is a little different, but I thought it would be fun to put together my makeup must-haves for y'all! I don't wear a lot of makeup, and when I do I like to go for a more natural look. These are all products that I love and use on a regular basis!

Makeup Must-Haves

One //  Covergirl + Olay Foundation in #125 Buff Beige
I only use liquid foundation if I am taking blog photos or am attending a special event, but I have been loving this one. It evens out your skin tone and gives you an "airbrushed" effect, which I love. I don't like to feel (or look) like I'm wearing a lot of makeup, and this foundation is perfect because it is light and provides the perfect amount of coverage.

Two // Sigma Brushes Flat Kabuki F80
Sigma Brushes are a little pricy, but worth it for the quality. This brush has firm bristles but is also smooth on your skin, blending foundation flawlessly. I use this brush to apply my liquid foundation, but could also be used to apply powder foundation as well.

Three // It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation in Medium Beige
For day-to-day use, I like to wear this foundation alone. I like to wear powder foundation because it is light and has a very natural look. If I am taking blog pictures, then I will apply this foundation overtop the liquid foundation above.

Four // Elf Powder Brush
I like to use this brush to apply my powder foundation because it is a lot softer than my Sigma F80 brush and is easier to apply powder foundation. And not to mention it's under $3! I have used a lot of Elf products and I highly recommend them if you are on a budget!

Five // Smashbox BB Cream in Light/Medium
I use this BB Cream as an under eye highlighter. I have pretty dark circles, so I apply triangles under my eyes to brighten up my face.

Six // Beauty Blender
I use a damp beauty blender to blend in my BB Cream. It blends liquid makeup smoothly and flawlessesly. You can even use it to apply and blend your liquid foundation if you want.

Seven // Benefit Hoola Bronzer
I have been using this bronzer for awhile now, and I am loving it. It is the perfect shade and isn't too shimmery. I like to apply it under my cheek bones and around my jaw line to help make my face not look as wide.

Eight // NARS 'Ita' Kabuki Brush
If I want a more dramatic contour I use this brush. It creates a sharp contour under your cheek bones for the perfect amount of definition.

Nine // Sigma Small Contour Brush F05
If I want to add some color to my cheeks with a subtle contour, I will use this brush. I will also use it to blend out my dramatic contour that I applied with my NARS brush.

Ten // Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter
Highlighter goes with bronzer like peanut butter goes with jelly. If you contour under your cheek bones, you should highlight your cheek bone. I like to put highlighter on my cheek bones, under my eyebrows, and my inner eye, to brighten up my face. This highlighter is the prettiest color, and is not too shimmery!

Eleven // Sigma Tapered Contour Highlighter Brush F35
I pair the above highlighter with this brush to apply the makeup smoothly.

Twelve // L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara
I only use the primer (white) side of this mascara. I apply it to my lashes, let it dry and then apply another layer. Using primer makes ALL the difference in the length and thickness of my lashes. I don't use the mascara side of it, only the primer.

Thirteen // Too Faced 'Better Than Sex' Mascara
I have used many mascaras in my day, and this is definitely my favorite. I keep trying to find a new kind, but always end up back here. This mascara alone is great for creating thickness to your lashes, which is magnified by the L'Oreal primer above! I know the name is a little crazy, but the mascara is amazing!

And there you have it.. My everyday makeup must-haves. I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know if you would like to see more like this!

Thanks so much for reading! xo
