3 Ways To Style A Velvet Dress For The Holidays
Less than two weeks until Christmas and I'm in full swing over here sharing a ton of holiday inspired outfits! Velvet has been huge this season, so I thought it would be helpful to share a few easy ways that you could style a velvet dress for the holidays!Dress It Up
This is probably the simplest and most basic way to style a velvet dress, but if you just add a pair of tights and heels you'll be ready to go! This look would be perfect for a holiday party, and would be super cute with a faux fur black coat over top! Maybe even add some sparkly jewelry!Add Some Edge
If you've been around here for awhile, you've noticed that I've been wearing this leather jacket all the time.. and for good reason! It can be worn with pretty much anything, and is a great way to add a little bit of edge to any outfit! Pair with some black over the knee boots and you've taken your velvet dress to a whole new level!Dress It Down
The third, and my favorite, way to style a velvet dress this holiday season is to dress it down! Lately I've become a huge fan of wearing a sweater overtop of my dresses and that's what I did here! It's so comfortable and make it easy to hide all of the Christmas cookies that will be consumed in the next couple of weeks. I added this festive scarf for some Christmas flair!
Is anyone else all about the velvet this season?! Haha I honestly have bought so much of it (dresses, shirts, pants, shoes...). It just makes me feel super festive and gets me into the holiday spirit!
