Friday Favorites: September 2016

Another month has come and gone! I cannot believe October is tomorrow! But I am so excited because October is my favorite month! Pumpkin patches, apple picking, sweater weather... What's not to like about October?! Here are a few things that I liked about September:

ONE // Family Vacations
If you've been following along with me on Instagram, then you've seen that I did a little bit of traveling this month! First we went up to Vermont for a week for my cousin's wedding, which was so much fun! Vermont is such a gorgeous state, and it was so much fun celebrating their marriage! I also just got back yesterday from spending the week in California with my entire family. The five of us don't get to be in the same place much, since 3/5 of us live in Cali, so it was such a great week!

THREE // Supporting My Blogging Sisters
A few weeks ago I partnered up with four of my favorite blogger babes to share with y'all 5 ways to wear plaid this fall. My favorite thing about this post was being able to introduce my readers to some other great bloggers! I strongly believe in promoting each other, rather than competing with each other!

FOUR // 70s Flare Jeans
I was a little bit skeptical when I first heard that flared denim were coming back in style. But as soon as I tried on these pair, I instantly became obsessed. They are super flattering and make your legs look extra long! I am 5'6 and wearing heeled booties and they were the perfect length. If you are shorter than I am, I recommend getting them hemmed.

FIVE // Big Brother Finale
Okay, who watches Big Brother?! If you don't, then you need to start! I've been watching it for seven years now, but it just finished up it's 18th season. It's so addicting and just so fun to watch! This year's finale was the most exiting and surprising finale yet! My goal is to eventually download and watch all of the past seasons!

These posts don't get as much traffic as my usual outfit posts, but I thought y'all would be interested in me getting a little bit personal once a month. Maybe I'm wrong and y'all really don't care? Let me know your thoughts! Would you rather I stuck to style posts?
