My 2018 Goals and Resolutions | Chasing Cinderella

Happy 2018! I'm a little late to the game, but wanted to share my 2018 goals and resolutions. The main reason to share these is to keep myself accountable. There's just something about writing them down (and sharing them with y'all) that I hope will help me stick to my resolutions so I can accomplish my goals! 


Live a healthier life.

I feel like this is my resolution every year, but that's not stopping me from having it again this year! My hopes are to eat healthier, stick to my diet, and to exercise at least 5 times a week. The hardest part for me is always starting out. Once I can get into a routine, get past the cravings stage of my diet, and get into a little bit of shape, it's easy to continue. Nothing is a bigger motivator than seeing results! Stick with it and the results will come!

Goal: Run my 2nd half marathon


Start treating blogging like a business. 

I love blogging but it has kinda taken a backseat ever since I started my new full-time job in August. With me working odd days/hours and Cab traveling so much, it has been difficult to take the pictures I need for the blog posts. But I really want to start taking blogging seriously again and get back into it! 

Goal: Post 3 times a week on the blog
Goal: Post at least once every day on Instagram
Goal: Engage with my followers more (i.e. Instagram stories)


Make more memories. 

I want to make more memories with Cab and really be present in the moment. How many of us are always grabbing for our phones when spending times with our significant others?! Sometimes we need to put down the phone or computer and really enjoy life! I want to be more present in my relationship and not let my job, social media, or anything get in the way of making memories with Cab!

Goal: Date night once a month
Goal: Travel somewhere new 


Now lets hope I can stick with my resolutions and achieve my goals! What are some of y'alls 2018 resolutions? I would love to hear them!

  3. Awesome goals! I have several similar goals as you. I want to live a healthier lifestyle as well. I'm starting off with working out at least 3 times a week, and once I manage that consistently, I plan to raise the number. I also want to eat healthier. I know I won't be able to cut out all the foods I enjoy eating right away, so instead I'm focusing on eating more fruits and vegetables throughout the day, as well as drinking lots of water!

  6. A SECOND half marathon? How awesome! Great that you want to post more on your blog and IG, but make sure you don't overdo it. I've read so many blogger posts (including my own) of feeling burnt out. I appreciate not posting on the weekends -- keeps things fresh.

    And yes, travel somewhere new. Traveling is the best.
